Coaches Required

All junior football clubs rely on volunteers. Tarleton Corinthians are inundated every year with local children wanting to train with the club, unfortunately the number of children can sometimes outweigh the number of coaches the club have available.

The club are interested in hearing from people interested in coaching at any level but are particularly interested to here from coaches looking to work with:- (School Years As Of September 2020)

What’s involved in being a coach
Coaches generally work in a team of 2 or 3 to run a team and will move with the team as they go through the age ranges. Coaches will be expected to run weekly training sessions and support the team from the sidelines during matches.

Why me?
The majority of coaches have a child / relative playing in the team they coach. Many never dreamed of being a football coach and intended to watch from the sidelines but the truth of the matter is teams need volunteers and if you want your child to play junior football then someone has to step up to the plate!

How will the club support me?
In order to coach junior football you will need to have a FA Level 1 qualification, the club will fund your training and support you on your journey. More information on the course can be found at As part of the training coaches will undertake first aid and safeguarding training and will need to undergo a DBS check.

Existing coaches will be keen to support and guide. The club will provide you with all the necessary training equipment to run your sessions.
